Dawn at this location depends on direction of light (better in the winter than April) or some dramatic clouds. I liked the pattern of the shadows, and then I saw him basking in the sun, a classic R pose.

At the Ogden Mountain Man Rendezvous
Trappers wintered in Ogden in 1825-26, and they also had a real rendezvous the next summer at Bear Lake. Kerry, from Battle Mountain, took second in this shooting competition.
