Demolition at the palace
My favorite song from Sesame Street: One of these things is not like the others. The house is a mix between Spanish Mediterranean and craftsman bungalow. Doric columns are wildly wrong in either case. What else is wrong is that one guy should not be able to slide the column out from under the porch roof it is supporting, regardless of how much they need to go. No tools, just a big guy to carry them off. I suspect that they have gone to our general contractor’s museum of ugly bits that might come in handy, but trust me, there is no home worthy of them.
