Highway 89 news round-up

I’m starting a weekly round-up of local news in communities along the 1,600 miles of historic Highway 89. I’ll be featuring items that won’t make the national media, plus a don’t-miss upcoming weekend event somewhere along the highway. Here’s the first installment.
