Mining through the internet: I am researching a potential full-length feature project ala Hwy89, but my eyes tend to wander to the weird and wonderful in the Utah Digital Newspapers project. I could distract my self all day reading stuff like this gem, “Steals Passenger’s Pants” which appeared in the Sept. 5, 1919 edition of the Davis County Clipper. The text of the image reads:
Steals Passenger’s Pants
Toledo—Male occupants of a Pullman car in the yards here were forced to remain in bed Thursday morning after a thief ransacked the coach and fed with an armful of trousers. The porter later found the missing trousers under a freight car. The pockets had been turned inside out.
